MATT BEAL
Guitar, Bass & Ukulele
At 10 years old, after hearing the legendary Randy Rhoads for the first time, Matt Beal got serious about playing the guitar. After high school he attended the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California, and from there, he played with bands such as Hollywood Rose (the precursor to Guns N’ Roses), Bruce Bouillet (Racer X, The Scream, Epidemic) and Tommy Chong.In 2006, he released his solo record “Contributions For An Atom Bomb”. Nothing makes him prouder than jamming with his students and watching them grow as musicians.
TOM CORSHIA
Drums
A drum instructor, Tom graduated Magna Cum Laude from UMass in Dartmouth with a bachelors degree in music. He has been teaching at Jack’s since 1997. His drumming skills are an inspiration to his students regardless of their level of performance. Tom also has played with a number of top 40, pop and fuction groups, such as The Grab Brothers, Elra, Sister Cheryl, The Rock Star Posers, The Jeffrey Navaras Band and Modern Manners.
JOHN JAMISON
Drums
A drum instructor, John has been playing drums since childhood and music has been his driving force. After being selected for NY All State Jazz Ensemble in high school, John studied at both Berklee and SUNY Purchase. Prior to relocating to Cape Cod he had his own jazz band in NY for 10 years. John taught percussion at Barnstable High School for 14 years and is currently the percussion director at Dennis Yarmouth Regional High School. He is a Vic Firth Artist and Education Team Member and an associate with The Zildjian company. He has been teaching at jack’s for the past 15 years.
